OmniVOS

OmniVOS server is a skeletal VOS server that can be configured and extended through the use of dynamically loaded plugins. By using different plugin modules, an OmniVOS server can among other roles act as 3D world, a web site, a fileserver or all of those at once! OmniVOS is inspired by the design of Apache, where having a highly modular server gives the administrator great flexibility to configure the server exactly to fit the task at hand.

OmniVOS currently supports the following plugins:

• COD loading
• Site persistance to the filesystem
• Site persistance with revision control
• Site persistance to a MySQL database
• Service directory support
• HTTP server support (HyperVOS)
• Support for VOS search queries

Complete and in production use. Currently being used with various plugins as the Interreality.org web server and world servers.
