Graphic Design
- New colors, easier to read, more professional look (but not too boring or conventional)
- New logo, and/or background/accent images with a theme (ask reed about this)
- Use more icons next to key links or concepts. Communicate ideas graphically, break up the text.

Should make sure that it's clear that you don't neccesarily need to structure things in a hierarchy. (Break free from hierarchy! OR use it if you want it...)
Need to make sure we use familiar terms and real-world references as much as possible, rather than VOS jargon. Talk about things like teams or groups of people working together. Talk about collaboration for telecommuters or partner companies? Examples of sharing information/documents/data. Use plain terms for technical aspects: talk about "programs" and "Servers" rather than modules and sites, even if not exactly accurate.
Need to include more illustrative pictures and graphics.
Some buzz words that might make people more interested are hosting/server things like clusters and grids, cheaply expandable data centers by adding servers/blades, etc.
Organization
- Need to present modules of information targetted at specific user/customer personalities (who they are and what they need)
- Need to focus on applications (products) more upfront, in addition to the platform. Various applications/uses should be highlighted, with the 3D application simply being the first and foremost one. (to show VOS's versatility)
- Need a new page offering commercial support (really just "contact us and ask about it"), as a temporary sign that this is possible (until the company is started)
- New page collecting resources for developers? (lists, docs, wiki ideas/todo section)
Need to link to articles that walk through code examples early on. (And need to make those articles too of course! See HowTos.)
Operation
- Need to deploy hypervos-news for the news page
- Eventually need to develop forums application
- Eventually need to develop wiki-like html editing tools in hypervos, and merge current wiki into larger site (with most of it in either an "ideas/todo" section, or an "in progress scratchspace" section)
